I support emerging adults and adults
When life starts to feel like a lot, it can help to have a space where you don’t have to have everything figured out. My goal is to create a space to slow down, talk things through, and feel supported while you make sense of what’s going on; whether that’s stress, emotions that feel too big, relationships, identity, or questions about who you are and where you fit in the world.
I believe therapy should be collaborative and flexible, shaped around what you are hoping to get out of it, and grounded in respect for your lived experience.
I’m a Registered Clinical Counsellor who works with emerging adults and adults. I aim to create a relaxed, non-judgmental space where people feel comfortable being themselves. I believe that people are capable of change, while also recognizing that trauma and systemic barriers can make that process more complex.
I draw from a variety of approaches, primarily trauma-informed, person centered, existential and narrative therapy. I integrate CBT and DBT when helpful for the individual, and tailor each session to clients individual needs, wants and preferences.
My role as a therapist is not to tell you what to do, but to walk (or sit) alongside you as you explore, reflect, and grow at your own pace. I’m especially passionate about working with LGBTQ2S+ and neurodivergent individuals.
Outside of the office, I find my peace in family, community, nature and movement. I love to spend time at the lake in the summer, camping and paddle boarding with family and friends. In the winter, I find movement and community in sports, and you can often find me (sometimes way too late at night) at the hockey rink.
