Our Origin Story
During their shared practicum placement in 2019, Olga Morrow and Tricia Wright dreamed of opening their own counselling centre in the heart of Prince George, BC. They shared vision: to create a space of supportive professionals where the journey to wellness is holistic and centered around you. During the 2020 global pandemic, they opened a large group practice with the promise of filling it with qualified mental health practitioners. That's how Arnica Counselling Inc. came to be, a place where every individual's story is heard, compassion meets comprehensive care, and healing is found in connection.
Why "Arnica"
Arnica Montana is a perennial herb used in herbal medicine for healing. We chose this name to symbolize our Northern wilderness and our collective search for healing and hope.
We humbly acknowledge that we have the privilege to practice on the unceded territory of the Lheidli T’enneh First Nation.
