Title: Qualifying Counsellor Credentials: B.Sc., B.Ed., M.Ed (Counselling)
Living with burnout, fatigue, or health challenges can affect how you see yourself, connect with others, and imagine what’s possible moving forward. I offer a calm and grounded presence, meeting you with compassion, curiosity, and zero pressure to have it all figured out. My approach is collaborative and flexible, shaped by your needs and pace. Whether you’re navigating a health challenge or feeling disconnected from yourself or others, we can explore it together. My hope is to create a space where you can exhale, and where healing feels like softening into what’s already within you.
My approach to therapy: I draw from Emotionally Focused Therapy, weaving in narrative approaches and solution-focused techniques to create a supportive space where emotions are explored with care, your story is honoured, and we work together to notice and build on meaningful change. I often work with youth and young adults navigating life transitions and questions around identity, and I aim to help clients feel more grounded, connected, and empowered in their lives.
My experience: I’m a certified teacher and counsellor who has completed my Master of Education in Counselling at the University of Northern British Columbia. I bring a decade of experience working with youth and young adults in high school and university settings. My practice is deeply informed by a commitment to inclusion and accessibility. I have a special interest in working with individuals who are navigating the challenges of chronic illness, pain, fatigue, and burnout, and further experience supporting clients with concerns related to depression and anxiety, grief and loss, and with feeling disconnected from self and others.
More than my work: Outside of the counselling room, you’ll find me crocheting up a storm, adventuring into the bread baking world, running (as a literal form of grounding), and spending time outdoors with my dog whenever I can. I believe healing is relational, creativity is medicine, and humour is a powerful tool for resilience.
