I support children, youth and adults
Sometimes people reach a breaking point and do not know where to turn for support. This can feel overwhelming and isolating. Often, what they need is a safe and unbiased space to talk, reflect, and be heard.
I am a compassionate, neutral, and curious therapist; we can explore and process together your challenges, needs and goals for therapy.
My priority is developing a safe and trusting therapeutic relationship; where we journey together with your needs at the centre. In my therapeutic relationship with children, youth or families, my priority is to strengthen the family attachment and promote continuity of care.
Experience:
I am a Metis woman with Cree and European ancestry and a long-time resident of Prince George. I have been a foster parent and am a proud auntie to many, who range in age from 6 to 33 years old. I have both personal and work experience in loss and grief, trauma, family illness, mental health and addictions, impacts of violence, intergenerational trauma, colonialism, and attachment disruption.
I have a background in Early Childhood Development and have worked in the Social Services Sector for over 20 years primarily supporting indigenous and non-indigenous families, women, children, and youth in various for-profit, government, indigenous, and non-profit agencies. More recently, I have worked as a child and youth mental health counsellor since 2020.

Grounding, self-care and re-energizing is vital as a therapist. My roots are connected and grounded in nature; whether it is walking or hiking in the forest, kayaking, or cycling through trails. My soul feeds on music, dance and being creative. “Live by the compass within you, not by the steering of those around you”- unknown
