I am a Registered Social Worker and Master of Social Work candidate who supports youth and adults experiencing anxiety, depression, trauma, and life transitions. I have a special interest in pregnancy and postpartum mental health and cognitive therapy, helping clients better understand and strengthen how they think, feel, and cope during times of stress.
I recognize that many people come to therapy feeling overwhelmed, unsure where to start, or having managed on their own for a long time without the support they need. I work collaboratively with clients to make therapy feel approachable and empowering, creating a safe space where they can explore their experiences and build on their strengths.
My approach is holistic, individualized, and trauma-informed, with a strong focus on client resilience, skill-building, and empowerment. I value the therapeutic relationship and follow the client’s lead, supporting them in reconnecting with their capacity for growth and change, while also ensuring sessions feel relevant and meaningful.
I bring extensive experience facilitating group therapy in pregnancy and postpartum mental health, grief and loss, family support, cognitive remediation, and metacognitive therapy. I believe in the power of community and connection to reduce isolation, normalize experiences, and strengthen support networks so clients feel less alone in their healing.
In my work with the Early Psychosis Intervention team, I conduct cognitive assessments and support individuals experiencing depression, anxiety, bipolar disorder, and psychosis in developing practical strategies to manage cognitive challenges and improve daily functioning.
I integrate a range of evidence-based approaches, including CBT, DBT, ACT, Motivational Interviewing, Emotion-Focused Therapy (EFT), and grief and loss counselling.
I am dedicated to guiding clients through their healing process with greater clarity, confidence, and support—grounded in the belief that “Incredible things can be done in micro moments” (unknown), highlighting how small, consistent moments of connection and repair shape healing and emotional safety in relationships.
