Alex Supports Adults with Group Counselling
Many people feel overwhelmed, stuck in stress, trapped in overthinking, emotionally exhausted, or frustrated. Even more people understand their challenges mentally but still struggle to do something about the problem and others feel too tired to even attempt the change they know they need.
I aim to help you find the energy, will-power and tools to get after what you really want by combining counselling, movement, mindfulness, breathwork, and life skills. I want to help you reconnect with both your mind and body. I believe lasting change happens when we work with the whole person — not just thoughts, but emotions, physical patterns, nervous system responses, and daily habits. My approach is tailored to each individual’s goals, strengths, and lived experiences.
My Experience:
I am a therapist, social worker, coach, and trainer with over 10 years of experience supporting individuals in strengthening both their mental and physical well-being. My work combines psychology, neuroscience, mindfulness, and physical training to help clients better understand themselves and create practical, lasting change.
I have worked with youth, athletes, adults, and professionals experiencing stress, anxiety, emotional overwhelm, low confidence, life transitions, and performance-related challenges. My approach is collaborative, grounded, and action-oriented, helping clients build tools they can apply both inside and outside of therapy sessions.
The types of therapy I use:
· Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) · Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT) · Narrative Therapy · Mindfulness-Based Approaches · Somatic & Body-Based Practices · Breathwork & Interoceptive Awareness · Strengths-Based & Solution-Focused Therapy
The trainings I have completed:
· Dialectical Behaviour Therapy · Narrative Therapy 1,2,3 · Chek Holistic Lifestyle Coaching 1,2 · Oxygen Advantage · Certified Personal Trainer
The concerns I help address:
· Anxiety & Stress · Trauma · Burnout · Athletic Performance · ADHD management · Men’s Mental Health · Lifestyle Coaching
More than just my work:
I have a deep love for soccer, martial arts and dance. I like having multiple activities on the go and it feels good to do so. I still play competitive soccer and dance regularly; in another life I would have gone to Thailand to fight but I decided I wanted to go to school instead. If I decide to take a 180 and go for that side quest, you’ll be sure to hear about it lol.
